Here's a book written specifically for non-technical personnel who work with engineers, but aren't familiar with the engineering concepts and technical aspects of cellular radio and telecommunications systems. Using plain, easy-to-read language, with no mathematics, this book helps you understand the "hows and whys" behind cellular network design, explains WLL design functions, and illustrates how cellular radio systems locate and send calls to subscribers. The book also identifies and compares several key radio systems in use today, and even looks ahead to future cellular and WLL systems, based on current industry trends. It includes real-world examples, chapter-end questions and solutions, a complete glossary of terms and acronyms, and "at-a-glance" sections of key concepts.
Editorial : From the Author Over the past few years I have given many tutorials on cellular radio and most attending were not engineers. This led me to develop a book for anyone who wants to find out how cellular radio works but has no engineering or mathematical background. The book was thoroughly tested on a range of interested parties including my wife (a nurse) and brother (a lawyer). It takes care to explain terms such as MHz and kbyte but enters into sufficient depth such that the reader will be able to understand cellular systems in some considerable detail. There is a detailed glossary and questions at the end of each section with model answers supplied in the back of the book. If you want to find out how cellular systems work in a simple and intuitive manner and you don't necessarily have an engineering or mathematical background, this is the book for you. It has been especially appreciated by those working in cellular companies in areas such as legal, marketing, customer service, etc, wh
I know people who have it. While the more sober and introspective Buddhist may put on the better show from a mental health perspective, both are running on a treadmill that will eventually throw them off into oblivion. "Plague", by Judy Mikovits, PHD and Kent Heckenlively, fits in this list of important books. That is because they regulate and balance the immune system. But in adult life, I have found the humility, humor, genius insight, peace, joy and truth in the writing and philosophy of C.S. Maybe Brockman thinks that it brushes off on him just by rubbing shoulders with some more or less "famous" people. HIV has an affinity for White Blood Cells, too, the Helper T-Cells. Congressmen and Senators will get lots of campaign contributions. Inserts women rightfully back into the history of BMC alongside their male peers whose history has been fleshed out more in other publications. There are ways to do that which come off very elegantly. Neither does Autism have a cure or treatment.
